We are seeking a talented, forward-thinking commercial attorney. As part of our in-house legal team, you will handle a broad range of primarily commercial and regulatory matters pertaining to a leading-edge technology company. You will play a key role in securing our legal interests and promoting our success.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel in a technology company, with a preference for knowledge in deep tech and chip industries.
  • LLB degree required; MBA or other advanced degrees are an advantage.
  • Israel Bar License required; membership in other bar associations is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English (writing and speaking; preferably native speaker) is required. Other languages are an advantage.
  • Experience in handling trademarks and patents is an advantage.
  • Strong “business-friendly” style, understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
  • Proactive approach with strong analytical skills and initiative.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, and DocuSign is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and negotiate NDAs and commercial agreements, including negotiating, agreements between the company and its customers, partners, and vendors (such as licensing, leasing, services, marketing, sales, operations, OEM, MOU, partner, and evaluation agreements).
  • Manage and coordinate Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and draft and submit responses to funding bids such as Horizon, Israel Innovation Authority, and Bird.
  • Provide legal support for procurement and supply chain contracts.
  • Advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Handle and advise on the use of open source software, and create an open source compliance list.
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements, policies, and legal processes.
  • Respond promptly to requests for legal advice from business teams.
  • Conduct legal research and provide timely updates on legal developments relevant to the tech and chip industry.
  • Assist in managing disputes and litigation as necessary.
  • Facilitate internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
